Looking for noodle soup? Try at Prosperity Bowl Restaurant. Hainan chicken rice too!

We found quite a popular spot for SS2 residents; The Prosperity Bowl Restaurant (Address: No. 19, Jalan SS 2/30, SS 2, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor). It gets very busy during lunch time, and we usually go there for a hearty bowl of noodle soup for breakfast.
They have a variety of noodle types and toppings but please remember their steamed chicken (Hainanese style). They won the best chicken rice award from The Star.
Their chicken meat is tender and sweet, well worth the visit. Try it.  They also have the traditional Hainanese Chicken Rice. My missus and I enjoyed them but the ginger in the rice was a bit too much for my children.

Of course, there are also blanched bean sprouts with soya sauce and fried shallots. Great complement to the chicken rice.

Chicken noodle soup with a variety of noodles. Thumbs up. Or you can try the dry noodles which also comes with a bowl of soup. This one below is of loh see fun (bee tai bak or rice pin noodles).

But a better choice for dry noodles will be koay teow or hor fun. As the gravy is absorbed well by the noodles making it a more satisfying dish.

They also have a good selection of Chinese desserts. We especially like the gingko barley which is not too sweet.
