Save at Restaurant Hol Thong, Petaling Jaya,

If you are in Petaling Jaya SS2 area, and are looking for a place to have a nice, satisfying lunch or dinner without causing too much damage to your wallet, I will recommend Restaurant Hol Thong for you.

It is a Chinese restaurant serving traditional stir fried dishes, steamed dishes and soups
(Address: 16, Jalan SS 23/11, Taman Sea, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia). However this is one place that serves very reasonably priced food. Since the food is good and the price is better than right, expect crowds and longer waits on weekends.

My children's favourite, sweet sour pork. Quite tasty and always popular.

Bitter gourd soup. Good when you are wishing for something lighter and healthier.

Above stir fried wat tan hor or stir fried flat noodles with egg gravy. Another of my children's favourite. Below Teo Chew style steamed fish. We had the threadfin fish (ma yau or senangin) steamed with mushroom, salted vegetables, tofu, tomatoes, bell peppers and slices of pork. Very appetising and will definitely go for it again in the future.

Of course, there are lots of dishes available. Give this place a try, you will not regret it.
